Love is waiting there in my beautiful balloon Way up in the air in my beautiful balloon If you'll hold my hand we'll chase your dream across the sky
For we can fly (we can fly) Up, up and away My beautiful My beautiful balloon, balloon
Up, up and away Up, up and away
When I first heard of the Chinese spy balloon spotted over Montana, I thought immediately of that beautiful love song made famous by the Fifth Dimension back in the 1967-1968. Will this lovely song be forever ruined by thought of Chinese spying? Perhaps, but what’s the big deal anyway? Of course, the Chinese spy on us. We also spy on them with high powered satellites and many other means. The Chinese have also countered that we have sent our own balloons over their airspace, but we of course we deny it. Who really knows what or who to believe, for our government officials are certainly not above lying. In any event, Congress is up in arms. In reaction, the US House of Representatives in a 419 to 0 unanimous vote (Has that ever happened?) condemned the China's balloon surveillance program as a “brazen violation” of U.S. sovereignty.
Personally, we are more concerned about Chinese spying on President Biden’s drug and sex addicted son Hunter, when he traveled to China with his father, the Vice-President, on Air Force 2 in 2013. Have you ever wondered what Hunter might have said or promised at that time in order to secure (ten days later) a $1.5 billion deal with a subsidiary of the Chinese government’s Bank of China. We doubt the Chinese are wondering, for their spycraft is good enough that they most certainly recorded every single word Hunter may have said or any promise that he may have made.
We are also dismayed that the balloon story is taking attention away from what we think are more important issues; the first of which is, in our opinion, the bombshell allegation that the US government orchestrated the destruction of the Nord Stream pipeline. It is also taking attention away from the important hearings in the House of Representative that are focusing on the abuses of the FBI and other government agencies in censoring the rights of Americans to exercise their Constitutional right of Free Speech. We have recently written about the pipeline in our previous article, and we will soon focus on the House hearings, but there are various aspects of the balloon story that are worth noting.
First of all, it has been reported that the balloon was first noticed, or at least first reported, by civilians in Montana, who spotted it with their naked eye near Billings. The balloon was reportedly the size of three buses, so if our defense surveillance did not spot it beforehand, there must be a massive shortfall in our defense and surveillance abilities. Scary!
President Biden has pretty much kept his mouth shut about the balloon, so until we hear his full side of the story, let’s assume that the government spotted the balloon and followed it much earlier, when it was over Hawaii and Alaska, but decided not to tell anybody about it. Let’s hope that is true, but then why did they wait so long to shoot it down? They say it was to protect civilians and buildings from a crash, but why then have we changed that policy and shot down other unidentified objects over the United States and Canada in the following week? By the way, the Pentagon has just admitted that the three unidentified objects shot down since last Friday were likely for commercial use and not for foreign intelligence gathering. LOL! Does anyone in the Pentagon know what they are doing? I can’t wait to see how much the lawyers will want in compensation for the government’s destruction of private property.
Secondly, soon after the story got splattered all over national newspapers, TV and the Internet, The Biden Administration tried to shift the blame by saying that balloon intrusions had also occurred a number of times under President Trump. That raises a number of critical questions. First of all, is it believable? If they couldn’t spot these large balloons when the incursion first happened, how in the world could they know it had happened in the past? Maybe the truth is that they did know, but that they did not tell Trump about it. The highest US defense and state department officials under President Trump have all denied any knowledge, so it is very possible that a bureaucratic deep state may have hid what was going on from then President Trump. We all know that that has happened beforehand. As we have demonstrated in past articles, the US Syrian ambassador under Trump bragged that we always had significantly more troops in Syria than was reported to the President, and Dr. Birx has admitted in her book that she used subterfuge in dealing with President Trump.
In summation, we hope one of our political leaders ascertains what really happened before the inevitable book and movie come out. Will it be a suspenseful drama starring someone like Matt Damon or Will Smith, or will it be a comedy starring an Eddie Murphy, Will Ferrell or Adam Sandler?
Spot on! Our feckless leadership and the complicit media (in all matter of things, but now speaking specifically of China) is terrifying. Hopefully people are finally waking up.
